The impressive Sierra Bermeja

The Sierra Bermeja Park stays between the picturesque mountains of Ronda and the southwest of the very popular region of Malaga. You can reach the park by following the C-341 or N-340 roads that will take you right to the entrance of the park. The Sierra Bermeja Park is a place that tourists love because when they visit it, they get surrounded by forests from all parts. The forest resources are the most important in this province and at the same time, the most common. These same forest resources attract tourists from all the corners of the world because they fall in love with the special views and the fresh air they breathe while they visit these spectacular parks. I am sure that when you visit the Sierra Bermeja, you will fall in love with it; it is a lovely place where you can enjoy the beauty of the Spanish firs, picturesque pine groves and even coscojas and junipers. As you walk deeper and deeper, you will have the chance to see some interesting animal species such as wild goats, wild cats, mongoose, roe-deer, owls, hawks, eagles and even vultures. You have to visit this park; a day trip here will be a very memorable and relaxing one.

The Saw of Snows

This amazing Natural Park has a divine location: at the heart of the amazing region of Serrania de Ronda, a mountainous area that will impress you with deep ravines and breathtaking cliffs that offer very special views. The earth is formed of limestone, so you will find many potholes in this area; one of the most important potholes is the G.E.S.M, which is the third in depth in the world. The Park has a few high peaks that are covered with snow almost the entire year such as the Torrecilla, which is 1, 919 meters high. The treasure of the Saw of Snows Park is represented by its conifer forests, such as the Spanish firs. The amazing landscapes attract the attention of tourists and a big percentage of those who visit Estepona choose the park for day trips. Since the fog and the precipitations are very common here, you will notice the fact that the landscape is dominated by Spanish firs. The place is a very wild one and due to the fact that it is protected by law, it is not uncommon to see stags, mountain ox, mountain goats or wild cats and golden eagles. Enjoy!
